Use u-BACCH with Intel software on an Arm m1/m2 Mac.
A bit of mouthful, huh? Well, if you own an ARM (M1 or M2) based Apple Mac and you’ve installed our u-BACCH plugin (if you haven’t, here’s the installation video), you may find that some intel-based (and generally older) apps don’t find the plugin. One such lovely little app is HostingAU, which allows you to simply route audio through different Audio Units for free.
Additionally, if you are running an app in Rosetta, you will need to use the intel version of u-BACCH.
In this scenario, we actually need to install the Intel version of the plugin as well, change the name of it, and drop it into our Audio Components folder. Here’s the video walkthrough:
